The Starlings have a set uniform which consists of a black leotard, black leggings, ballet shoes and black tap shoes. Please note that balck trainers should be worn for street exam and show dances. Children can also order a black t-shirt/sweatshirt/hoodie with the HSOD logo on if desired but this is optional.

A REMINDER THAT ALL EXAMS TAKE PLACE AT OUR HIGHAMS PARK VENUE!
Please note that all children under secondary school age will need to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their allocated time. Changing areas should remain female only and all students should arrive ready with hair and make up complete. Refreshments will be available in the hub and the changing areas will be in rooms 1 and 2.

Doves 2 dance bronze award
All Doves should attend from 9.15am – 11am
All students will be given 2 costumes and should arrive in their ‘Oliver’ Costume. They will need their street dance shoes for this exam. Hair should be in a 2 plaits (either french or normal) and makeup can be worn. All costume should be taken home and returned on the following lesson.
Thursday 18th December 2025
The annual Christmas showcase is a relaxed event and a chance for family and friends to see some of the class and exam work that is not displayed in our summer show.
All students should wear their normal uniform and bring all their dance shoes with them. All Epping classes will take part in the event. If applicable, all students should arrive in their tap shoes/ Pointe shoes if applicable. Christmas accessories can be worn if desired.
Tickets for audience members are purchased at the door on a first come first serve basis, please bring cash with you to pay for your entry. Prices of tickets are £3 for adults and £1 for children.
Please note there are NO normal lessons on this day and please arrive at 5.15pm. The showcase will be from 5.30pm – 6.30pm and take place at normal dancing.
