Saturday – Optional Gymnastic dance class – 1pm – 1.45pm
Eagles (Street Dance)
Wednesday – 5pm – 5.45pm

The Blackbirds have a set uniform which consists of a black leotard, black leggings, jazz shoes, ballet shoes and black tap shoes. Children can also order an assortment of black HSOD embroidered items if desired but this is optional. Street dance students have no set uniform, however HSOD embroidered items can also be ordered. Children should come to lesson in appropriate dance wear and street dance students are expected to have black dance shoes/trainers for exams and shows.

Please note that not every class will take part in every exam session but please keep them all free!
Saturday 22nd March 2025 – Blackbirds Award, Grade 2/3 Gymnastics
Saturday 17th May 2025 – Blackbirds Grade 2 ballet
Please note that all children under secondary school age will need to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their allocated time. Changing areas should remain female only and all students should arrive ready with hair and make up complete. Food and refreshments will be available on the day.
Saturday 22nd March – Blackbirds 2 dance Bronze award
All the Blackbirds will be given 2 costumes. Please arrive ready in the Sailor costume. Hair should be in a low plait/french plait for both dances and makeup can be worn. The changing areas for this day will be rooms 1 and 2. Costumes should be taken home and washed (if applicable) and returned at the next lesson.
There will be no normal or gym lessons for the Blackbirds on this day.
Attendance times for this exams are as follows…
11.15AM – 1PM – Erin, Aylin, Sia, Evie
12PM – 1.30PM – Lara, Ariana, Amelia, Emma, Melissa, Alexandra
2.30PM – 4PM – Petra, Rebekah, Dahlia, Naomi, Daniella, Ayda, Elizabeth
Saturday 22nd March – Blackbirds Grade 2/3 Gymnastics
Please note there is an extra rehearsal for this exam on Friday 21st March and attendance to this is important.
Attendance times for the Friday rehearsal are as follows…
as close to 4PM as you can – until 5.30PM – Melissa, Amelia, Ariana, Lara, Alexandra,Naomi, Petra, Daniella, Ayda, Dahlia
5.30PM – 6PM – Erin
For the exam day students should have their hair in a low plait/french plait and no makeup/natural make up should be worn if desired. They should wear their black leotard and leggings, black socks and black Jazz shoes.

1.20PM – 2.30PM – Naomi, Petra, Daniella, Ayda, Dahlia
